Government of Canada Provides Funding for Quebec Metal Production Company.

Financial assistance of a 317,500, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program to Alliantis Metal Inc..

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, has announced that Alliantis Métal Inc. has been granted this financial assistance in order to acquire modern laser cutting equipment. The investment will improve the productivity of their plant.

"By supporting Alliantis Metal in the acquisition of state-of-the-art technology, the Government of Canada is showing proof once again of its commitment to invest in projects that can help grow the economy," said Minister Lebel.

Alliantis Metal Inc. is a specialized manufacturer of often complex metal parts and components. The company, which was founded in 2007, also offers value-added services including: welding and assembly of product components and specialized robot assembly. The firm's  clients consist mainly of manufacturers in the industrial, recreational, medical, transport and energy sectors.

The government funding from the Canadian Government will help strengthen the company which will in turn be able to sustain high value jobs.
